Nothing Is Like Woodstock

In terms of music festivals today, none really parallel Woodstock. However, what I would say to be the closest would be Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Chicago also has Lollapalooza, but I think the bands are terrible. Nine Inch Nails? Come on. However, some people do like it, and I guess everyone has their own opinion.

Woodstock might be semi-recreated though. I heard they were planning a 2009, 40-year anniversary show, with bands like Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Bob Dylan, and others. Hell, maybe even get Led Zeppelin out there!

Hopefully the 40-year anniversary doesn’t suck like the 30-year anniversary did. We shall see though.
