I’m going to start a feature here where I suggest 3 rock songs to listen to every day. Here are today’s picks:
Styx - Blue Collar Man
Styx put out some great songs, and Blue Collar Man is one of their most underrated tunes. It just has that ‘feel good’ feeling to it. Check it out for youself.
The Lovin’ Spoonful - Summer in the City
Summer is coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean you can’t listen to this great summer tune. Just don’t wear it out in the winter though.
The Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin
A solid song to just chill out to, Nights in White Satin is easily The Moody Blues’ best song. Put this on at night or something - you’ll love listening to it.
Show Yourself the Way

Sure, there are boatloads of great rock and roll songs out there, but I think one of the best has to be ‘Show Me the Way’ by Peter Frampton. I mean, his ‘wah wah wah wah wah’ thing with the guitar is the beginning of the awesomeness there.
It’s just got a good beat…there really isn’t much more I can say about it. I just am putting this up to recommend all you fellow rock and rollers to listen to the song, maybe even listen to it on YouTube.
However, I’m also writing this to talk about another one of Frampton’s great songs. In fact, it also has the word ‘Way’ in it. Can you guess the song?
That’s right, you should also be listening to Baby I Love Your Way by Peter Frampton. It’s a little bit slower than Show Me the Way, but it’s way cool. Yes, I just made a joke.
Anyways, after you listen to Show Me the Way, perhaps you should go back to YouTube to listen to Baby I Love Your Way. It’s as equally awesome.

That 70’s Show: Funny and Rockin’

Unfortunately, the series is over…but that doesn’t mean you can’t catch the re-runs. They usually play on cable 3-4 times/day, and I really think any fan of the 60s/70s/rock and roll should watch the show. Hyde is a huge fan of Zeppelin, Donna is a radio DJ, Eric is a dork but still gets Donna, and they all are a bunch of stoners.
The show is hilarious. I hope you have already seen this, but if you haven’t, check it out.
